The script is what I wish the first 7 issues had been. I'm hoping we can pull from the history of emo for the soundtrack. In the first draft there was a band that featured prominently and interacted with the characters. I named each person in the band after some of the pioneers of emo. There's a few songs in the movie too, something I couldn't really do with comics, and I tried to pull from different eras to influence those. Really though I think once the trailers are seen, people will see it's more about storytelling and character and comedy and the whole 'emo' thing will quiet down.
